Wednesday * June 15, 2016 * 9:21 p.m. Hi Sweetpea, A month has come and gone so quickly and as always there is something to report. My great nephew Xavier Flores has passed away. He was shot and killed on 91st Ave & Glendale last Saturday. His sis Roxie is busy raising money for his funeral. It seems like the arrangements have been made. There will be a couple car washes this weekend. His friends and our family are doing all they can to help Roxie with all the expenses. Diane his Mom is probably in town and I hope she is doing okay. I can only imagine what she must be going through...losing a son at such an early age. I pray that all goes well with the wake and funeral and I pray that our faith in The LORD will give us the strength to bury yet another family member. I especially pray for comfort and healing for Diane, Roxie and Frankie. Help them through these difficult days. In JESUS name I pray and ask all these things. Brandon, thank you for listening and understanding Nana. I love you and miss you and I carry you in my heart always. Love you to the Moon and back a million gazillion times. Nana Dee The young man who shot him was arrested today. He is only 23. I am happy he was found and is finally in jail where he belongs. I pray he is convicted and found guilty and sent to prison where he will not be able to harm anyone else. Please say Hi to Xavier and help him feel welcome up in Heaven, in Paradise where you are. Where you are safe and sound. Where no one can harm you. You are safe in the arms of Our LORD.
