Thursday * March 19, 2020 * 8:12p.m. Hey Sweetpea, Little did I know at the beginning of the month that it would be a little chaotic now. Like the saying goes....Change is Constant. It seems like things will be normal and we will go on our merry way as usual, but NO...we're having a big crisis here on planet Earth. There is a virus created by the Chinese government called the Corona Virus. I believe the Chinese released the virus in Wuhan to cause chaos. It is a deadly virus that supposedly worse than the flu and there is no vaccine to help those who are infected. Nana is not worried, just concerned for myself and my loved ones. I am staying home a lot and not going out like I usually do. Every day we get updates on TV so much so that I do not want to listen any longer. Today I took soup to your Tia Marisa who is working from home. I made soup for your Tio Jesus who had a birthday earlier this month. I try to make caldo de Res for my siblings for their birthdays. And the colitas de Res are very expensive now. I should have bought short ribs which are cheaper, but the colitas taste better. So much for my rambling...Nana gets carried away. Your sis Emily spend a couple nights with me and she is good company. She is so smart and keeps me on my toes. You and her would get along...I just know it. I know you are keeping an eye on us and I know you have an inside scoop to GOD. I ask that you please tell HIM to keep us all safe and healthy. I pray this sickness is eradicated soon and I pray that people will turn to GOD in this hour of crisis. Only GOD knows what is ahead and I trust in HIM. He is my Rock and Savior!
