Brandon Urias-Salazar was my grandson and I miss him dearly. He took a piece of my heart when he passed on Aug. 5, 2007. I was blessed to have him in my life and I thank GOD for the short time that I had with him. I enjoyed singing to him and loved holding him in my lap. I'd sing every children's song that I could remember and he'd put up with his Nana's squeaky voice. Brandon was a very special and strong little boy who fought bravely for his life. When I sensed he was tired, and he'd take some deep breaths particulary after a seizure, I'd encourage him to hang in there and I'd let him know how much Nana loved him. He was my first grandson and I'll treasure the time I had him forever. Never will I forget his beautiful face and spirit. Rest in Peace my Little Twinkle Star. That's what you are now a Special Star shining bright in the Heavens.
