Wed. October 6, 2021 7:30 p.m. Hi It's been about a month since I have checked in...and here I am once again. I hope your like the decorations the girls and I picked up from the dollar store. It wasn't much but I was thinking of you that day. You see, I went to pick them up so they could spend the night. They are on Fall Break this week and so are a lot of other kids. Anyway, we had a busy day. We went to in-n-out burger and ate at Kiwanis Park in Tempe overlooking the lake. In no time the clouds got darker and it started to hail and rain. When it stopped, we made our way to Tempe Marketplace so the girls could shop and walk. Thankfully, it did not rain on us. Then we came home. I made supper then we went for a quick walk by the Environmental Center when it started to rain again, but we made it back to the car before it got worse. All the while we heard thunder and by the time we got to Target it started to hail! Wow! it was loud and I thought the big pieces of hail were going to break my windshield. To make a long story short, we shopped a little then made it home safely. Well, they only spent one night. In the morning I made them eggs, sausage and pancakes. By 11:00 I we met their Nana Susie by the Walmart and I hugged them goodbye. Until next time....I love having them spend the night! Not much else is new, so until next time. Love and miss you always!
