Dorothy 9th May 2022

Monday * May 9, 2022 * 8:48 am Good morning Sweetpea, It's Nana checking in to say Hi and to let you know how my Mother's Day weekend was. It was a nice day and weekend. It started out great! My friend Stella's daughter Amanda treated us to a free room at the Vee Quiva Casino. I spent the night with my buddies Stella and Janie. We didn't win big bucks but we had a good dinner and an even better breakfast the next day. After leaving the casino I went to your Dad's place for a while and then on the Marisa & Jon's place in Waddell. They gave me a beautiful bouquet of roses and a gift card. They also shared some wonderful news with me! I am going to be a Grandma again! YIPPEEE! I cried when I read the message written on the card. I am so happy for them! I pray they have a happy and healthy baby. Please ask GOD to watch over her and hopefully, she doesn't have much morning sickness and I pray she carries the baby to full term and without any complications. You know she will turn 33 on your birthday. You both share a birthday and it is always a bittersweet day for me. I know you would be turning 18 here on Earth, but in my heart you are still a little 3 year old boy. Anyway, the month is moving right along and as always there is always something to see and do. This evening I plan to go to line dance to keep Janie company. Your sister Emily spent a couple nights last week and we had a good time. Every now and then she likes to visit and I treat her to whatever she wants and I would have done the same for you. Next weekend is Jasmine's graduation party and I and others are looking forward to it. I pray it is a nice day and everything turns out great and everyone enjoys it, especially Jasmine. Ask GOD to Bless and direct her life. May she continue to do well despite of her bad heart. It is my prayer that GOD touch and heal her heart so she may continue to live a happy and healthy life. Amen. Well, I better log off. I have to get ready to have lunch with my friend Angie who is watching Smokey. Afterwards I will bring that doggie home where he belongs! ha ha... Love and miss you always, Nana Dee
