Dorothy 24th September 2023

Saturday, September 23, 2023, 7:15 PM Hi sweet pea, it’s been a while since I’ve been on your page. Thinking of you this evening. It’s a quiet Saturday evening and I’m just sitting here thinking about stuff and looking at my dog Smokey who is zonked out on the couch. Yesterday I took him to the groomers and then I received a call while I was at lunch with my friends Angie and Sarah that the groomer had accidentally cut his leg and the owner and groomer were on their way to blue pearl vet hospital on 32nd St. and Indian school Road. My first thought was what the heck happened and why are they taking him so far away. It turns out the Vet places close to the groomers were closed since it was Friday I guess they close early. To make a long story short, the owner and groomer were very apologetic and the owner took care of the $1600+ vet bill. Anyway, he’s on three different meds and he also has to wear a cone for at least two weeks while the injury heals. Anyway, that was my exciting day yesterday and today I met at lunch at knock, kneed lobster with your aunt Char and Alicia uncles Jesus and Jose and family friend Carlos from the old neighborhood. After that I had a prescription for Sister Chrispina that needed to be filled so I took care of that and then I came home. I’ve been resting and taking it easy. As you can probably see, I have been watching your cousin Gabriel, Ezra, who will be nine months on October 5. Thank God I only watched him Thursday and Friday. He is a handful and quite active so by the time I get home I am ready to hit the sack. He is a beautiful little boy, but then again, I am biased, I know you were just as beautiful when you were born. I couldn’t stop looking at you through the window at the nursery at good Samaritan Hospital. I remember Marisa was with me…you were born on her birthday. She and her hubby Jon are in Pinetop visiting her sister-in-law, who had her third baby, a little girl name Camila Rose . Last week I watched the Bambino while she and Jon drove to Tucson for her grandmothers funeral. She didn’t say much about it. Anyway, not much is going on it’s life as usual down here on planet earth. Everyone seems to be doing okay Thank God. Just wanted to touch base with you and let you know that you are always on my mind and you will never be forgotten. I know you’re with your Tata and with my mom and dad. And also with my sis Frances and brother Martin. Sometimes I wonder who’s next whoever it is they will be free of the earthly body and with the LORD. I’ll make short is sweet… good night God bless you. Love Nana Dee ❤️
