Thursday * October 1, 2020 * 2:09 p.m. Hi Sweetpea, Its the first day of October and awhile ago I walked in the door. I had lunch with my friends Angie and Sarah at Los Olivos in Scottsdale. I had not been in the area since Christmas when Marisa treated me to Handel's Messiah at Scottsdale Center for the Arts. That was way before Covid 19 struck. Little did we know what the New Year had in store for us. Here it is October already and I am waiting for it to cool down a bit more. I try not to think of the virus although I do wear my mask when I walk into places and I am more careful than usual by washing my hands. I am trying to remain and keep healthy, I do not want to get sick. I try to do a little something every day and I try to get out of the house so I don't get bored. Nana tends to watch to much TV and Nana tends to eat too much if I stay indoors. There is not much news here. Yesterday your Tio's Jesus and Jose came by for Craft day. Your Tia Char was here but not Tia Alicia who is bothered by tummy troubles. It is nice to have them over for a few hours. I think they enjoy coming over to eat, reminisce and chat. We tend to reminisce a lot of younger days. Well, I'm thinking I might run down to Costco to get a few things and gas up the car. Smokey is waiting for me to get off the computer.
